We are doing it in stages.<br />Currently the residents have developed their own EMR in note documentation.<br />The faculty have found that the notes are not updated, that false info in the notes can affect pt care (ie., putting CT head ordered, when it had been done 2 days ago), pt discharges, and confuse nursing staff and consultant. The faculty are worried about the next phase of our EPIC installation when all notes will be electronic.<br />Any words of wisdom? LyndaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
