I would like to make a suggestion; that you open this carnival up to "people" who are not professionals.
ReplyDeleteWhat it comes down to, based on your description, is that family members and friends are part of the team providing care.
When my dad was in for triple bypass surgery earlier this year it was me, not any nurses or docs, that noticed he had a rash. It was me who suggested what turned out to be the cause. And it was my brother and I who got to the bottom of the problem that the system broke down in what is supposed to be a very good hospital that they had no sterile sheets available.
My dad would not have gotten the care he needed or deserved if we had not been there to contribute.
