Tweets About Social Media

  • In case you are not sure: tweets and links do not represent endorsement, approval or support. Medical news tweets are not research articles - they are 140-character messages - therefore always go to the original source/links, etc...

  • Tips for webmasters: when talking about endorsements, link to them. Please see top right sidebar of http://allergycases.org for an example

  • Social media is part of communication skills a doctor should have but it is more difficult from psychological perspective because there is no physical contact: no eye contact or voice communication, etc.

  1. This is an interesting list of tweets. Is there an application that allows you to capture keyworded tweets without actually bringing them here, or did you save these and then re-publish them? Just curious. Thanks!

I'm sure there is but I keep it simple: copy/paste from my own tweets and re-tweets.

"Did you save these and then re-publish them?"

I review my Twitter feed every evening and transfer everything of value to 2 blogs. Twitter has only short term memory - 7 days in the search index.
