Google Docs is a useful online word processor, spreadsheet and presentation application. I have used it for years with satisfactory results and it has almost completely replaced Microsoft Office for me. Having a "golden copy" online is very convenient, especially if you work on your documents from your workplace, home and you check them from mobile devices. The local copies of Word documents just don't cut it anymore.
